I know dementia ( aka alzheimers ) patients live for the moment,its a trait thats unbearable?

to live with,i was in the bathroom taking a shower, ( we have two bathrooms) i told my dad if you need to use the bathroom use the other bathroom,he said okay ( here comes the moment) i get into the shower and i here my dads desinct knock on the door,bang bang bang! this behaviour drives me nutzoid.im looking to get into a group home i cannot live like this any longer.i have my brother looking into a few places for me.i cared for my dad its three years now,and now its his turn to care for him,its his father too.
