Why is my hamster still on edge?

this is interesting! I also had a female hamster and she ALWAYS bit me! I had to handle her with gloves to play with her, take her out for excersise in her ball so I could clean her cage...etc...I got a hamster because all the other ones I've been around (my cousins) were all so sweet but now that I remember...they were all boys! I hope someone can answer this for you. Just wanted to let you know that you're not alone, and don't give up on her. She may just need some extra time with you.
