There is a ringing sound in my ear?

First it was that everything went dull, next there was pain in my ears. i thought it was wax buildup but apparently not. then i tried to use Q tips and it didnt help at all. my mom is away and is coming back in a week. and my dad does not know how to take care of a child. im 15 and i need help. what should i do? Now theres a freaking ringing sound in my ears. HELP ME.
