What is your honest opinion of this idea for a fantasy, adventure novel?

its not a bad idea but I gotta ask if all the major players are there and alive why does author forgo the sword for minstrel lute? I mean in the real world or semi real world a minstrels life was hard and LOW and unless they were remarekably good and got in to sing for lords it was long journies in rough place.... not saying its a bad idea but arthor was a simple youth in the stories nothing special rally it was mostly the teachings of merlin that helped him become more than he was.... at least thats my 2 cents.
